THE MMIX AT MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS BARCELONA 2016 [Momentum, GSMA, MWC]

I was brought in to manage Momentum Worldwide’s partnership with the GSMA on The Mobile Multimedia Innovation eXperience – THE MMIX for short – which is the official media & entertainment theme at Mobile World Congress, the biggest mobile event on the planet with over 100K delegates and 3K+ exhibitors. Thank you to all that joined us for an incredible four-day programme of events exploring the future of media and entertainment on mobile. As well as thought-provoking keynotes, track sessions and debates- we organised a dedicated MMIX Studio Summit analysing the phenomenal impact of video, film, TV, music, media and games on the global mobile sector. We also partnered with the Mobile Media Summit, the Interactive Advertising Bureau, McCann Worldgroup and Gamelab to bring razor-sharp insights from industry experts. Plus the Glomo Awards 2016, was in the MMIX, to showcase the very best in mobile, media and entertainment. And we prepared an unforgettable night for The MMIX Party – the Official MWC Party - which was THE hottest ticket of the whole conference.
MMIX SUMMIT:
I was the main point of contact and managed production of all creative, marketing communications, media output, and on site print and digital branding for MMIX Summit and MMIX Party. I also digitally project managed my first end to end site build (for TheMMIX.com). On site, I managed run-of-show for the entire day’s MMIX Summit- which featured a keynote from Scott Mirer of Netflix as well as panel debates with top people from Twitter,Spotify, Lego, Youtube/Google, CNN, and more.
